Team captain Derek Kavanagh will assume a defensive role for Cork's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Donegal on Saturday (Croke Park, throw-in 4pm).

The Nemo Rangers clubman, who normally lines out in midfield, will start at full-back this weekend to cover for the injured Graham Canty (cruciate knee).
