Dubs unchanged for Clare clash
Dublin manager Tommy Naughton has named an unchanged team for Saturday evening's All-Ireland hurling qualifier against Clare (Parnell Park, throw-in 6pm).
Team captain Phillip Brennan was a doubt but he has recovered from a back injury to take his place at right corner back. St. Vincent's defender Ronan Fallon had hoped to start but he has failed to break into the side despite his recovery from a broken finger.
Dublin lost to Offaly by 0-17 to 1-17 at Parnell Park on June 17. The Metropolitans need a win this weekend to stay in touch in qualifier Group B.
Wing forward and free-taker David Curtin (0-15) has been their leading light in the championship so far.
Of the other players, only Alan McCrabbe (0-04) and Stephen McDonnell, John McCaffrey and Liam Ryan (0-02 each) have shown form in front of goal in their two championship games to date.
DUBLIN (SHC v Clare) - G Maguire; P Brennan (capt), K Ryan, T Brady; G O'Meara, M Carton, D O'Reilly; D Sweeney, S McDonnell; J McCaffrey, L Ryan, D Curtin; J Kelly, K Flynn, A McCrabbe.
