Armagh maintain good form
Armagh continued their impressive form in Section 3B of the Nicky Rackard Cup, beating Leitrim 4-20 to 1-09 win this afternoon.
Armagh Harps sharpshooter Declan Coulter put in the performance of the day as he tallied up 4-10 for the Orchard men in Keady. Armagh are level on four points with leaders Louth who went top of the table courtesy of a 8-25 to 0-03 hammering of Cavan in Knockbridge.
In Section 3A, Tubbercurry talisman Paul Seevers helped Sligo power out to a 4-15 to 3-08 success against Fermanagh at Markievicz Park - he hit 1-06. Donegal also posted their second win in three games to join Sligo on five points – Tyrone were beaten by the Tir Chonaill men on a scoreline of 4-19 to 1-10.
Derry’s dominance of Section 3C continued at Clontibret with a landslide 4-24 to 0-11 win over Monaghan. Swatragh clubman Conor Quinn struck home two of Derry’s goal. In the other game, Longford were easy 2-18 to 0-06 winners over Warwickshire.
