Drumreilly clubman Declan Maxwell has been passed fit to play in Leitrim's Connacht SFC semi-final against Mayo on Sunday (Carrick-on-Shannon, throw-in 3.30pm).
The 25-year-old forward sustained medial ligament damage in his knee in a club game last month and was thought to be a serious doubt for this weekend's clash.
But a quicker than expected recovery will see him line out at full-forward against Mayo.
Leitrim boss Dessie Dolan snr has handed Annaduff's David McHugh his championship debut in a team that includes 12 players from the side that took Meath to extra-time in last summer's All-Ireland qualifiers.
McHugh has been named at right half-back. Cathal McCrann also gets the nod ahead of John Prior in goals, Donal Brennan loses out to Darren Duignan in attack and Gary McCloskey will partner Christy Carroll in midfield, replacing Daniel Lowe.
Sunday will mark the first championship clash between the counties since 1997. Should Leitrim progress, they will be earning their first shot at the Connacht final since 2000 when they lost to Galway.
