Magee a major doubt for Dubs clash with Laois
Dublin are certain to be without midfielder Darren Magee when they clash with Laois in next Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final.
The Kilmacud Crokes player broke a bone in his wrist earlier this year but it took a scan last month to reveal the full extent of the injury.
Magee is set to have the cast removed in the coming days, but Dublin selector Brian Talty said "unless there is a miracle", the big centre-fielder will play no part in the repeat of last year's provincial final.
The versatile Colin Moran, Dubs' captain for the 2006 campaign, is also expected to miss the Laois clash due to a long term groin problem.
Manager Paul Caffrey should be able to call upon the services of full-back and former skipper Paddy Christie, who missed the entire National League series with a groin injury.
