Bellew benched for Armagh
2003 All-Star Francie Bellew has to be content with a place on the bench for Armagh's Ulster SFC semi-final showdown with Fermanagh on Sunday (Clones, throw-in 2.15pm).
Orchard County boss Joe Kernan has named an unchanged side for this weekend's encounter, meaning the 30-year-old Bellew is still without a game since March's National League clash with Derry.
A fitter by trade, Bellew injured his shoulder at work in April and has been sidelined ever since. Although successfully over the injury now, the Crossmaglen clubman is lacking in match fitness and will not be risked from the start by Kernan.
Bellew missed last month's two championship ties against Monaghan, with Tony McEntee deputising at full-back.
McEntee, who turns 29 next month, will again link up with Andy Mallon and Enda McNulty in the Armagh full-back line.
Wing back Paul Duffy's participation is in some doubt. He injured his groin in training last weekend and will undergo a fitness test before the throw-in.
