Leinster semi-final deferred due to Offaly subs row

The Leinster football semi-final between Wexford and Offaly has been deferred by a week as a result of the controversy surrounding Offaly's use of six substitutes in their quarter-final tie.

Kildare are expected to mount an appeal against the result of the match, which is likely to be replayed.

Because of this, the GAA has now deferred the affected semi-final from June 18 to June 25, when it will take place as part of a double-header alongside the other semi-final between Dublin and Laois.
