Sligo have included two championship newcomers in their team for Sunday's Connacht SFC quarter-final against Galway (Pearse Stadium, throw-in 2pm).

David Kelly and Kenneth Sweeney have been named in the Yeats county's attack as they bid for their first championship win over Galway since 1975, and fourth overall.

The 19-year-old Kelly, who skippered St. Attracta's of Tubbercurry to the All-Ireland Senior Colleges 'B' title earlier this month, will start at right corner forward with Sweeney, an Under-21 panellist last year, in the left corner.

Sligo are without Easkey clubman Dessie Sloyan, who is struggling with a groin injury, but will be boosted by the championship return of Eamonn O'Hara. The Tourlestrane talisman was re-introduced during the latter stages of the League after his recovery from a serious knee injury.

New manager Tommy Breheny's younger brother Mark starts at full-forward.

Sligo beat Galway in the Connacht FBD League earlier in the year, and will hope to build on last summer's championship display which saw them just one win away from the All-Ireland quarter-finals after victories against Longford, Kildare and Clare.

SLIGO (SFC v Galway) - P Greene; R Donovan, N McGuire, C Harrison; J Davey, P McGovern, P Doohan; S Daly, B Egan; E O'Hara, B Cullen, A Marren; D Kelly, M Breheny, K Sweeney.
