Nine changes for Louth

Louth manager Eamonn McEneaney has brought his big guns back in for tomorrow's NFL Division Two semi-final against Limerick (Newbridge, throw-in 3pm).

Midfielder Paddy Keenan and the forward quintet of Christy Grimes, Mark Brennan, Darren Clarke, JP Rooney and Aaron Hoey - all substitutes in last weekend's 1-08 to 2-08 Division 2B defeat to Westmeath - have all returned to the side.

There are nine changes in all as Louth bid to reach the second tier decider for the first time since their 2000 triumph over Offaly.

The other three alterations are at the back - Stuart Reynolds takes over in goals from Shane McCoy and David Brennan and John Neary come in on the flanks for Brendan Reilly and Dessie Finnegan.

The Wee county have won three of the sides' previous four league encounters. The last meeting went the way of Limerick - 1-14 to 1-12 in March 2003.

LOUTH (NFL v Limerick) - S Reynolds; D Brennan, C Goss, J Carr; J O'Brien, P McGinnity, J Neary; M Farrelly, P Keenan; C Grimes, M Brennan, M Stanfield; JP Rooney, A Hoey, D Clarke.
