Cooper in as one of two Kerry changes
Colm Cooper has been restored to the Kerry starting line-up for tomorrow's (Sunday's) NFL Division One semi-final against Laois (Killarney, throw-in 3.45pm).
The Dr Crokes forward, a substitute in last week's draw with Dublin due to the untimely death of his father Mike, takes over from Mike Frank Russell at right corner forward.
Cooper has been Kerry's top scorer in the league with 1-26 (9f). His club mate Eoin Brosnan is a surprise omission in the half-forward line, having been ever-present throughout the Kingdom's seven games in the regulation phase.
Brosnan rifled in goals in the wins over Fermanagh and Monaghan, but has been held scoreless in his last three outings. St Mary's marksman Bryan Sheehan starts in his place at left half-forward.
The remainder of the Kerry side is unchanged with Seamus Moynihan retained at centre back after an impressive display against Dublin, and Marc Ó Sé continues to deputise at full-back for broken hand victim Michael McCarthy.
Kerry and Laois have not met in NFL fare since the 2002 Division Two final which the Munster men won 1-09 to 1-05 in Limerick.
