ALLIANZ NFL: DIVISION 1A:

Cork 0-06 Fermanagh 0-03, Pairc Ui Rinn

Cork gained a valuable two points in their bid to stave off relegation from NFL Division 1A at rain-hit Pairc Uí Rinn.

Nemo Rangers marksman James Masters was the Rebels’ man-of-the-match, kicking five points.

A puddle-infested pitch could have seen the clash called off but it went ahead with Masters hitting 0-04 (1f) in the first half. David Niblock also got off the mark as Cork led 0-05 to 0-01 at the break. 25 minutes in, Ryan Keenan pointed for the Ernesiders.

Eamonn Maguire and Mark Little added to Fermanagh’s tally in the second half, but Cork were too strong.
