Fermanagh back to winning ways
Fermanagh 0-09 Dublin 0-08
Having lost recently to Division 1A leaders Kerry and Mayo, Fermanagh got back on the winning trail against Dublin at Brewster Park.
The Ernesiders led 0-05 to 0-02 at the interval with ‘keeper Christopher Breen brilliantly saving Mossie Quinn’s 16th-minute penalty kick – Conal Keaney had been fouled. Adrian Little grabbed two early points for the hosts while Dublin’s first half points came from Alan Brogan and Quinn.
Disaster struck for Dublin on 46 minutes when wing back Paul Casey was sent off for his second bookable offence. Points from Tom Brewster, Eamonn Maguire and Little helped Fermanagh hold on.
