The Oulart-The Ballagh marksman came off the bench to score a point in the Model men's league win over Clare last month, having missed the previous outing against Waterford due to a broken finger.

He replaces Mitch Jordan, who is suffering from a groin injury, in the line-up. Jordan disappointed in the 2-13 to 0-11 defeat of Clare as he failed to score from his right corner forward berth.

Meanwhile, 2005 captain John Hudson will return for the Wexford footballers in their league fixture at home to Meath tomorrow (Wexford Park, throw-in 2.30pm).

The Starlights attacker was sidelined for last weekend's defeat to Down due to illness. Darragh Breen is the player to lose out, with his place at right half-back taken by Kieran Kennedy who moves into a defensive role from the forward line.

Former Good Counsel colleges star Eric Bradley, who made his competitive debut last Sunday, has retained his place in Wexford's midfield.

Manager Paul Bealin will hope Hudson can help turn his side's fortunes around. Losses to Laois, Derry and Down have Wexford rock bottom in the Division 1B table.

Noted athletics sports psychologist Brendan Hackett has been taken on by Bealin as the Wexford team psychologist. Hackett, a former manager of Offaly and Longford, was appointed as CEO of Athletics Ireland last October and spent a number of minutes in the dressing room with the Wexford players after their poor performance against Down.
