Naughton rings the changes for Dublin

Dublin manager Tommy Naughton has made four changes to his team for Sunday’s NHL Division 2A meeting with Roscommon (Parnell Park, throw-in 2.30pm).

With Kilmacud’s Aodhan de Paor away at the weekend, Derek O’Reilly of Craobh Chiaráin returns at left half-back. Stuart Mullen (St Oliver Plunkett’s/Eoghan Ruadh) will partner David Sweeney at midfield with Padraig O’Driscoll losing out.

In attack, Tommy Moore makes way for former vice captain Liam Ryan, who will make his first start of the campaign at centre forward having recently recovered from a shoulder injury. Tomas McGrane also replaces the injured Peadar Carton (collarbone) at right corner forward.

The one positional switch sees David Curtin, Dublin’s top scorer in the league so far with 0-19, move from centre to left half forward.

The Dubs, who walloped Wicklow by 5-23 to 1-07 last month, will be hoping to make it three league wins out of three ahead of their March 26 clash with neighbours Meath - the only other side left in the division with a 100% record.

DUBLIN (NHL v Roscommon): G Maguire; P Brennan (capt), K Ryan, T Brady; G Bennett, R Fallon, D O’Reilly; D Sweeney, S Mullen; S McDonnell, L Ryan, D Curtin; T McGrane, K Flynn, A McCrabbe.
