Tyrone call off game against Cork
The Allianz NFL Division 1A fixture between Tyrone and Cork, scheduled to take place at Healy Park in Omagh on Sunday, has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
The Tyrone County Board issued a statement this evening confirming that the pitch was frozen.
The statement added: "This decision (to postpone the game) was taken early to avoid any inconvenience for the Cork team and supporters and for our own Tyrone supporters."
Both Tyrone and Cork are pointless at the bottom of Division 1A after the opening two rounds of the National League.
Owing to the postponement, TG4 will now screen live coverage of the Division 1A tussle between Kerry and Fermanagh on Sunday (Killarney, throw-in 2.30pm).
