Monaghan name strong line-up
Marty McElkennon's Monaghan side are verging on being at full strength for the visit Mayo to Clontibret on Sunday (throw-in 2.30pm).
The Farney men, who lie fourth in the NFL Division 1A standings, were understrength and well below par when losing last Sunday's Dr McKenna Cup final to Tyrone.
McElkennon has made five changes to the side that lined out against the All-Ireland champions.
Vincent Corey replaces Keith Sheerin in the half-back line.
Eoin Lennon and Benny McKenna return to form the midfield combination, with Eoin Duffy being dropped and Paul Finlay redeployed in the half-forwards.
Lennon should be on good form - last weekend, the Sports Science student celebrated his 25th birthday in style by playing his part in DCU's first ever Sigerson Cup win.
Elsewhere in the Monaghan line-up, Kieran Tavey makes the repositioned Finlay at right half-forward. On the opposite flank, Paul McGuigan is in for Ciaran Hanratty.
McElkennon will be banking on another good performance from full-forward Hugh McElroy.
The Latton hitman has scored eight points in his last two outings - three against Tyrone, and five in the Farney's brilliant league win over Dublin at Parnell Park.
MONAGHAN (NFL v Mayo) - S Duffy; C Flanagan, J Coyle, D Morgan; D Freeman, V Corey, D McArdle; E Lennon, B McKenna; P Finlay, S Gollogly, P McGuigan; T Freeman, H McElroy, R Woods.
