GAA drops plans to build stadium in NY’s Randalls Island
The GAA has confirmed that it will not proceed with plans to develop a stadium for Gaelic games at Randalls Island in New York.
The association had planned to invest $2m (€1.6m) in the project.
However, in a statement today, the GAA said it had failed to reach agreement on the matter with the City of New York and the board controlling the Randalls Island Gaelic Sport project.
