Cork Under-21 Michael Shields has been afforded the chance to impress senior manager Billy Morgan as he starts Saturday's floodlit NFL Division 1A tussle with Kerry at Pairc Uí Rinn (throw-in 7.45pm).

Cork Under-21 Michael Shields has been afforded the chance to impress senior manager Billy Morgan as he starts Saturday's floodlit NFL Division 1A tussle with Kerry at Páirc Uí Rinn (throw-in 7.45pm).

The St Finbarr's clubman will man the Rebels' midfield alongside Dermot Hurley. Shields takes over from the injured Nicholas Murphy, whom he replaced during the second half of last weekend's defeat to Offaly.
