Caherlistrane star wins Connacht award

Caherlistrane forward Cormac Bane has won the Connacht GAA Writers' Personality of the Month for December.

Bane, a 22-year-old trainee garda, spearheaded the north Galway club's historic Connacht Intermediate Club final win last month, scoring eight points in the 0-13 to 0-05 defeat of Boyle of Roscommon.
