Survey: GAA players favour semi-pro status

The UCD Centre for Sports Studies in conjunction with the Gaelic Players Association, today presented the results of a detailed study analysing the welfare and opinions of senior inter county GAA players.

The findings from the report, commissioned by the GPA, are certain to raise enormous debate, with the vast majority of players favouring a move towards semi professional status.
