Two changes for Galway intermediate side
Galway have made two changes to their side for Saturday's All-Ireland Intermediate hurling final against Wexford in Portlaoise.
This weekend's tie is the first of four finals for the Tribesmen's hurlers over the coming weeks with All-Ireland deciders at minor, senior and Under-21 level to follow.
Wing back Alan Garvey replaces John Fordham and Kevin Huban makes way for Joe Gantley at centre-forward as the Galway intermediate side bid to get the county's clean sweep charge off on the right foot.
The Tribe's side all includes 2004 All-Ireland minor-winning goalkeeper Mark Herlihy, while both Garvey and Gantley, whose brother Brendan lines out at midfield, have impressed for the Under-21s.
Galway's only game of the 2005 intermediate championship to date saw them defeat reigning champions Cork 1-15 to 0-14 at Semple Stadium last month.
GALWAY (IHC v Wexford): M Herlihy; R Whyte, N Corcoran, P Flynn; A Garvey, E Tannian, N Earls; B Gantley, D McEvoy; B Lucas, J Gantley, E Ryan; B Lawless, N Kenny, K Burke.
