No immediate return for O'Mahony

John O'Mahony, a two-time All-Ireland winner with Galway in 1998 and 2001, is not rushing back into team management, he confirmed last night.

It was presumed that the Ballaghadereen school teacher, who has been linked with a number of vacant positions in recent weeks, would fit ideally back into the Mayo set-up after John Maughan confirmed that he would be stepping down as manager last week.
