Tribe's Broderick ready for return
Galway will need their full artillery on show when they take on Leinster champions Kilkenny on August 21, and that could mean a recall for two-time All-Star Kevin Broderick.
The Abbey-Duniry ace has been out of action for two months since undergoing a groin operation.
Now back in training, Broderick could play a vital role in helping Conor Hayes' side gain revenge on the Cats in their All-Ireland SHC semi-final date at Croke Park.
On the end of a 19-point drubbing at the hands of Kilkenny last summer, Galway will be doubly determined to succeed this time around.
Broderick was one of only three players in maroon to score that day, while one of his trademark lightning runs paved the way for his side's only goal from Damien Hayes.
Galway return to training in Salthill tonight, although wing-back David Collins will be missing. He picked up a dead leg in Sunday's two-point quarter-final defeat of Tipperary.
