Cats may still rely on Power play

Kilkenny's Richie Power still has a chance of making Sunday week's All-Ireland quarter-final tie with Limerick despite sustaining a heavy shoulder injury last night.

The Carrickshock youngster was forced off early in last night's Leinster Under-21 final win over Dublin and left Dr Cullen Park in a sling.

Yet X-rays today have revealed only bruising on the corner forward's collar bone, allaying fears it was broken.

Power, who scored 1-1 in the Cats' Leinster semi-final trouncing of Offaly last month, still faces a race against time to prove his fitness for the last-eight clash with the Shannonsiders.
