Sherlock to start sell-out final
Dublin are set to call on 1995 All-Ireland-winning hero Jason Sherlock for Sunday's Leinster SFC final against Laois.
Manager Paul Caffrey names his line-up tonight, with Sherlock favoured to start in attack ahead of young Kilmacud marksman Mark Vaughan.
Recently recalled duo Darren Magee and Dessie Farrell are also expected to make the bench for the Croke Park decider, while defender Stephen O'Shaughnessy faces a fitness test on his injured shoulder.
Sherlock came off the bench to bag a vital goal in the Dubs' provincial semi-final defeat of Wexford, replacing Vaughan in the process.
This weekend's opponents Laois, who also name their team tonight, are definitely without the suspended Shane Cooke.
Sunday's 80,000-plus attendance at GAA headquarters is set to beat the previous highest crowd for a Leinster decider - 78,033 watched Dublin lift their last provincial crown against Kildare in 2002.
