Dublin hurling boss Tommy Naughton has made two changes in personnel and three positional switches to his side as they attempt to salvage their All-Ireland quarter-final hopes.
Tonight sees the men from the capital travel to face Munster champions Waterford at Walsh Park (throw-in 7pm) with Maghnus Breathnach and Tomas McGrane coming into the XV at centre forward and right corner-forward respectively.
Emmett Carroll and Liam Ryan lose out.
Kevin Flynn has been named at left corner-forward but faces a fitness test to see if he has recovered from illness.
A vacancy has also been left at left half-back as Dublin give David Sweeney (hamstring) more time to prove his fitness.
Waterford are unchanged apart from one positional switch which sees Ken McGrath revert to centre-back.
Tonight's meeting will be only the second ever Waterford v Dublin SHC clash. The sides last met in the 1938 All-Ireland final, which Dublin won by 2-5 to 1-6 to clinch their sixth and last title.
