Offaly hurlers hit by further losses

Having already lost five players due to defection, Offaly manager John McIntyre's options for Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier with Clare have been further depleted.

Colm Cassidy, Paudie Mulhare, Conor Gath, Andrew McRedmond and Liam Bergin were all axed from the Faithfuls' hurling panel after missing a training session last week, but subsequently issued a statement claiming it was their own decision to walk.
