Injured Bradley out of Derry plans

Derry forward Paul Bradley has lost his race to be fit in time for Sunday's Ulster SFC semi-final clash with Armagh.

He suffered a knee injury while playing for club side Slaughtneil in the McGlinchey Cup last week.

Better news for the Oak Leafers manager Mickey Moran comes as Johnny McBride (elbow) and Paul McFlynn (knee, hip) are both winning their fitness battles.

Meanwhile, Tipperary's hurlers will have Philly Maher in their line-up for Sunday's Munster SHC final showdown with All-Ireland champions Cork.

Influential defender Maher underwent minor surgery on his knee recently, but is already back in training.

However, it is looking increasingly likely that Tipp boss Ken Hogan will have to plan without Lar Corbett in attack.

The 24-year-old Thurles Sarsfields ace, who plundered an early goal in the Premier county's 2-14 to 0-14 semi-final win over Clare, is struggling with a hamstring injury.

A return for former All-star Eddie Enright could prove an ideal tonic for Hogan.

The Thurles clubman is available for selection, having been out of the inter-county scene for almost 12 months with a badly dislocated shoulder.
