Stokes back for Limerick

Limerick midfielder Jason Stokes last night made his return to action after nine months on the sidelines in a challenge against Kildare in Nenagh.

The Shannonsiders face All-Ireland champions Kerry in the Munster SFC semi-final and Stokes' return to fitness is a boost ahead of the clash.

Limerick won the game by 3-11 to 1-7 and Stokes lined out at full-forward.

The midfielder picked up a leg injury last year and missed the Shannonsiders' entire League campaign.
