Spain trips for Meath's injury worries

Meath boss Sean Boylan sent a number of his injury concerns to Spain in an effort to boost their rehabilitation ahead of their Leinster SFC quarter-final against Dublin on June 5.

Mark O'Reilly and Tommy O'Connor, who are both suffering from back injuries, travelled to Malaga, along with Charles McCarthy, who sustained a leg injury, and Niall Kelly, who has a kidney problem.

The quartet underwent a specialist programme, taking advantage of the warm weather, in an effort to speed up their recoveries.

Boylan has several other injury worries ahead of the clash with the old enemy. Ollie Murphy, Graham Geraghty, Nigel Crawford, Trevor Giles, Stephen McGabhann and Shane McKeigue are all currently on the treatment table.
