Lohan and Wallace named players of the month

Clare hurler Brian Lohan and Wexford footballer Philip Wallace have much in common - both are full-backs and both were on the losing side in last month's National League finals.

However, there was some consolation for the duo yesterday as they were awarded the Vodafone Player of the Month awards for April.
