Kildare and Offaly have thrown their weight behind the growing list of counties in favour of opening up Croke Park, following their respective county board meetings last night.

Rule 42 was discussed at the meetings in Newbridge and Tullamore, and both counties agreed to support a motion calling for Croke Park to be made available to rugby and soccer while Lansdowne Road is being redeveloped.
