Skipper Dooher ruled out for Tyrone

Tyrone skipper Brian Dooher has been ruled out of his side's crunch National Football League meeting with All-Ireland champions Kerry at Killarney on Sunday.

Dooher had to withdraw from last weekend's starting line-up against Westmeath because of flu, and was replaced by Enda McGinley.

However, there was better news for manager Mickey Harte ahead of the Fitzgerald Stadium showdown.

Ace attacker Owen Mulligan is expected to return to the starting 15, having been sprung from the bench during last weekend's 10-point victory over the Lakes County.
