UCD goalkeeper Matty White will make his senior debut for Wexford in today's NHL Division 1B clash with Down after Damien Fitzhenry damaged ligaments in his thumb during last weekend's victory over Limerick.

Rory McCarthy and David O'Brien are also named in Seamus Murphy's side, despite picking up injuries last Sunday.

Dual player Redmond Barry will line out for the footballers against Galway.

Wexford will be keen to rack up a decent score advantage against down to keep apace with nearest rivals Cork and Tipperary.

Down will be without star defender Gary Savage for the clash at Wexford Park.

Savage picked up a hamstring injury in last weekend's battle against Cork.

Simon Wilson moves from midfield to centre-back while Gerard Adair will play at midfield.

Brendan McGourty returns to the half-forward line for Emmett Trainor.

Aidan Brown is chosen at top of the right and Eoin Clarke drops to the bench.
