Risteard Brennan partners Tim Sweeney in midfield, with Michael Carton moving to half-back and Greg Bennett dropping to the bench.

David Curtin returns to the forwards following a leg injury and Keith Elliott leads the attack with Stuart Mullen and Tomas McGrane dropping down.

Jonathan Kingston, who began at centre-forward in last Sunday's defeat by Galway, moves to the full-forward line.

Meanwhile, Clare have delayed naming their team until just before the start of the game.

Banner boss Anthony Daly is unsure on who to call upon as he has been requested to release players who are involved in the Fitzgibbon Cup next weekend.
