Waterford may not have Flynn available

Munster champions Waterford could be without AllStar forward Paul Flynn for the visit to O'Moore Park on Sunday to face Laois.

Munster champions Waterford could be without AllStar forward Paul Flynn for the visit to O'Moore Park on Sunday to face Laois.

Flynn started in last weekend's defeat by Kilkenny, but was substituted as he was nursing a shoulder injury. The Ballygunner club man has not trained since.

Flynn's absence comes as another blow to Decies boss Justin McCarthy, who lost AllStar Ken McGrath last weekend for the remainder of the league campaign after the Mount Sion star broke his collar bone.

McCarthy won't finalise his side until tonight, but if Flynn is ruled out, Eoin McGrath is expected to deputise, while Dave Bennett is likely to replace Ken McGrath.
