The chairman of the Hurling Rules Task Force, Nicky Brennan, has admitted that he was not consulted on the new experimental yellow card ruling.

Brennan's admission follows criticism by Tipperary All Star Eoin Kelly and Wexford great George O'Connor - both members of the task force - that the new system had not been agreed to by them.
