Ban could keep Cloonan out of final
Galway ace attacker Eugene Cloonan could miss Athenry's All-Ireland club hurling final against Leinster and Kilkenny champions James Stephens on St Patrick's Day.
The Games Administation Committee is to study video evidence of an off-the-ball incident involving the forward during the semi-final victory over Tipperary and Munster champions Toomevara last Saturday in Ennis.
If the GAC imposes a ban, it will be a double blow to the Cloonans, as younger brother Diarmuid will also miss the decider following his straight red card last weekend.
