Brian Cody names League panel

Kilkenny boss Brian Cody has named his panel for the upcoming National Hurling League.

Cody and his management team will draw from a squad of 30 players for the competition.

Glenmore's Paddy Mullally and Mooncoin's Eddie Mackey have withdrawn their services due to work commitments, while Walter Burke of Mullinavat, Pat Tennyson and Jamie Power of Carrickshock and Clara's Brian Phelan have been dropped.

There were call-ups for U21 star Richie Power and John Tennyson of Carrickshock, Dunnamaggin's Colin Herity, Mullinavat's Willie O'Dwyer and Kilkenny club player of the year, Eoin Larkin from county champions James Stephens.
