Next Saturday's exhibition match between the 2003 and 2004 All Star football squads in Hong Kong will not be played under the new experimental rules.
Sources close to the tour have indicated that the rules - introduced in the Munster, Leinster and Connacht provincial subsidiary competitions - will not apply.
Donegal star Damien Diver was the latest player to receive a call-up to the squad yesterday. He replaces Laois man Tom Kelly, who broke his collarbone recently in an O'Byrne Cup match.
Kelly will still travel with the party tomorrow, but will not participate in the match.
The game, at Hong Kong Football Club begins at 10am Irish time on Saturday.
