Cork players hurl for tsunami aid
Members of the All-Ireland-winning Cork hurling team turned out in force for a Poc Fada competition on Saturday in aid of the tsunami earthquake disaster.
Donal Óg Cusack, John Gardiner, Ronan Curran, Joe Deane, Tom Kenny and Kieran Murphy braved the wind and rain to take part in the Poc Fada, organised by Youghal and Killeagh GAA clubs, on the Youghal bypass on Saturday.
However, they are in sunnier climes today, as they joined their team-mates and management yesterday to set off on a two-week holiday to New Zealand.
