Canavan on bench for Tyrone
Tyrone take on the University of Ulster Jordanstown today in Section A of the Dr McKenna Cup.
Red Hand boss Mickey Harte has recalled defender Mickey McGee to the team. The All-Ireland U21 winner is named at left corner-back.
Peter Canavan remains on the bench but Brian McGuigan and Stephen O'Neill are named in attack.
In the other clash in Section A, Antrim host Cavan at Casement Park.
The home side is depleted as Joe Quinn, Paul Close and Niall Ward have fallen victim to the flu.
Gearoid Adams is included on bench after returning to fitness, along with Patrick Murray and Mark Dougan.
However, John McAleese is ruled out with a leg injury.
Ulster champions Armagh travel to take on Derry in Section B of the competition.
The sides meet in Lavey, and Derry boss Mickey Moran has made two changes from the side picked for last week's postponed clash with Queens.
Padraig Kelly replaces Slaughtneil club-mate Micheal Kelly in the full-back line, while Paddy Bradley takes over from Eamon Burke in the full-forward line.
Paul Bradley and Dungiven's Padraig Murphy will make their debuts today.
In Section C, Donegal take on St Mary's in Ballyshannon, after the game was switched from Ballybofey.
Fermanagh, who drew with Donegal last week in Ballyshannon, host Monaghan in Enniskillen.
