Cork midfielder Mickey O’Connell has opted out of the senior hurling panel for the coming season.

Cork midfielder Mickey O’Connell has opted out of the senior hurling panel for the coming season.

O'Connell, who won an All-Ireland minor championship medal in 1995, followed that with U21 medals in 1997 and 1998 before making his senior championship debut in 1999 against Waterford.
