Davitt withdraws from Páidí's panel
James Davitt has become the latest player to withdraw from Páidí Ó Sé's Westmeath panel.
The defender was instrumental in Westmeath's march to their first ever Leinster title last year but has informed manager Paidí Ó Sé that he cannot give the commitment this year.
Selector Tomas Ó Flaharta commented: "He doesn't seem to have the same interest as he had before. James was hugely committed last year and worked very well for us."
Davitt joins wing-forwards Brian Morley and Fergal Wilson in withdrawing his services.
