12 Ulster sides play in Dr McKenna Cup, Section A
The Dr McKenna Cup gets underway today, with 12 Ulster sides getting their first taste of 2005 action.
In Section A, defending champions Tyrone travel to Kingspan Breffni Park to take on Cavan.
Eoin Bradley is set to make his senior debut for Mickey Harte's side in today's clash.
Bradley is included at right corner-back, and three other players make their Red Hand return - Brian Robinson, Ryan Mellon and Peter Donnelly.
Brian Meenan starts at midfield, Sean Cavanagh lines out at wing-forward, while Enda McGinley returns after a neck injury and Chris Lawn takes the No 3 jersey. Veteran Peter Canavan is on the bench.
In the other clash in Section A, new Antrim manager Mickey Culbert has gone for a mixture of youth and experience ahead of today's meeting with the University of Ulster Jordanstown at Casement Park.
Culbert, who goes into his first game in charge of the Saffrons today, has named debutants Ciaran Gallagher, Kieran Close, Kevin Murray, Brendan Herron, John McAleese and Damien Gault in the side.
Joe Quinn of St Paul's captains the side in place of former skipper Anto Finnegan, who was left out of the 24-man panel by Culbert.
