44 GAA players drug tested this year
Forty-four senior inter-county players were selected for random drug tests by the Irish Sports Council's Anti-Doping Unit this year.
Four players were tested during each of the 11 trips made by testers to GAA teams.
All-Ireland hurling champions Cork were tested three times, while the Dublin footballers team underwent testing twice.
Hurlers from Kilkenny, Tipperary and Wexford also underwent drug testing, along with the footballers of Clare, Cork, Derry, Mayo, Tipperary and Westmeath.
