Dooher keeps Tyrone captaincy

Brian Dooher will captain Tyrone for the 2005 season.

Dooher was handed the Red Hand captaincy in the wake of the death of Cormac McAnallen last April.

McAnallen had only been given the county captaincy a few weeks earlier, taking over from Peter Canavan.

Red Hand boss Mickey Harte said Dooher was "an exemplary captain", having shown "great leadership qualities" in the past nine months.
