Lacey opts out of Lilywhites squad

Kildare footballers will have to plan without the services of Brian Lacey after the defender decided to opt out of the panel for next year.

The former All Star has switched jobs and has decided that he cannot make the commitment to the Lilywhites.

The corner-back is not the only Kildare star to have opted out, following the departures of Dermot Earley and Padraig Brennan.
