English turns down Model job
Former Tipperary player and manager Nicky English has turned down an offer by Wexford to become their new hurling boss.
The former All-Ireland winning manager was approached by county board officials who are keen to find a successor to John Conran, who resigned as manager of the Leinster champions following their 18-point All-Ireland semi-final defeat to eventual champions Cork.
