Daly ratified as Clare boss

Anthony Daly was ratified for a second term as Clare hurling boss at Tuesday night's meeting of the county board.

The former All-Ireland winning captain has been reappointed for another year, but PRO Des Crowe said Daly would have been given a longer term at the helm if he had wanted a longer contract.

Fr Harry Bohan and Alan Cunningham are set to continue as selectors, as is former soccer star Johnny Glynn as physical trainer.
